Presenting 2 tracks in non-clinical and clinical development respectively our programme for 2012 will span the drug development continuum from target validation & lead optimisation through early development and POC/POP and into advanced clinical trials.

Our non-clinical programme has been structured to provide a balance between chemistry and biology disciplines to reflect the outsourcing requirement of biotech drug discovery executives. Topics featured with the programme will include discovery biology, lead optimisation, medicinal biology, toxicology, API scale up and formulation strategies.

Our clinical programme will evaluate key issues in clinical outsourcing such as patient recruitment, monitoring of international trial sites, matrices for evaluating outsourcing partnerships performance, new models and approaches in building effective strategic outsourcing partnerships.

Speakers will be invited from both big pharma and emerging biotech to provide the perspective from these different types of organisations. Set against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving pharmaceutical sector BOS will retain our focus as an event built to meet the needs of the virtual biotech.

The programme for BOS 2012 is currently being assembled. We expect to make the progarmme for BOS 2012 available to download in Q1 2012.
