BOS clinical Programme
BOS clinical is a new partnering conference where biotech and pharma outsourcing executives, medical and clinical programme directors can meet with CROs and other support services working in the clinical trials space.
To compliment the one to one partnering we have a varied programme of senior speakers from pharma and biotech companies who will give their insights into managing their clinical trials operations and especially their relationships to CROs and other service providers.
Our CRO showcase session will feature a number of leading companies that provide a wide range of services in helping biopharma conduct their clinical trials.
The day’s programme will be started by Dr Penelope Ward of NovImmune who will give a candid view of using single or multiple CROs in clinical trials management.
Swiss biotech Synosia Therapeutic’s Dr Uwe Meya will then give a case study showing how to accelerate the proof of concept stage. Dr Denis Mir, Senior Manager Clinical Operations with EISAI will then close the first session with a presentation on the factors to consider when choosing your CRO partner.
The Technology showcase will feature six leading CROs and give food for thought before the lunch break.
Dr Rob Williams of Cancer Research UK will start the afternoon programme discussing the particular challenges of developing anti-cancer drugs. Continuing the oncology theme, Dr Chris Beattie of Onyvax, who are developing cancer vaccines, will present a case study.
Our final presentation will take in a global view of clinical trials outsourcing and we are delighted that Dr Eric Hurden of multinational pharma company Biogen Idec will be sharing his thoughts – definitely not to be missed !
A drinks reception will close the day in the College garden where delegates can network and discuss the day’s events.
