BOS non clinical 2009: A little about the venue....

Biotech Outsourcing Strategies 2009 will be held on 22nd September 2009 at the Royal College of Physicians, London. The Royal College of Physicians is the oldest and most prestigious English medical foundation, incorporated by Royal Charter in 1518. The College is now in its fifth home, an award-winning modern Grade I Listed building situated in a stunning setting overlooking Regent's Park in the heart of London.  Bio2Business has chosen the RCP to be the home of BOS for 2009 as we feel that the venue provides a memorable, high quality meeting place which will help facilitate the networking and relationship building that we are trying to achieve. The location in the heart of London is also convenient to access for our international and UK delegation.We hope you will enjoy the choice of venue.

The College is easily accessible by all forms of transport:

By Undergound
Regents Park Station - Bakerloo line (5 minute walk)
Great Portland Street Station - Circle, Metropolitan and City lines (5 minutes' walk)
Warren Street Station - Victoria and Northern lines (10 minutes' walk)

By Train
Euston Station (15 minutes' walk)
Kings Cross Station (5 minutes by taxi)
St Pancras Station (5 minutes by taxi)
Marylebone Station (5 minutes by taxi)

By Air
Heathrow: Express train from Heathrow Airport - 15 minutes to Paddington Station, then 3 stops on the underground to Great Portland Street Station.

Gatwick: Express train from Gatwick Airport - 30 minutes to Victoria Station, then 3 stops on the underground to Warren Street Station

Stansted: Express train from Stanstead Airport - 45 minutes to Liverpool Street, then 5 stops on the underground to Portland Street Station.

Accommodation
Bio2Business has a special rate at the Melia White House, located less than 5 minutes' walk away from the Royal College of Physicians.  Classic double king rooms at the hotel are available at £145 including breakfast and VAT (double room, single occupancy) until 21st August.  Thereafter, the RCP rate is £157.55 (subject to availability, on a "request only" basis).   Please either book online or contact Wendy Line (details below) to reserve your room (you will need your credit card to secure the room).

Parking

• A limited amount of car park spaces are available at the College and will be offered to organisers as priority and thereafter on a first come, first served basis @ £25 per vehicle per day.
• Please contact the RCP direct to enquire about parking (main switchboard: 0207 034 4900).
• A loading bay will be available to exhibitors on 2nd and 4th September. After offloading exhibitors should then move to the nearby car paking facilities.
• Please see the location map for the NCP car park locations in the area. Pay and Display parking is also available around the perimeter of the park.
• The College is outside the congestion charge zone.
