BOS Virtual Key Components

BOS Virtual Content

R&D Outsourcing Week: 28th June to 2nd July 2021
We are currently building the programme for R&D Outsourcing Week. If you are interested to present please contact [email protected]

CRO & CMO Showcase: As part of the Gold Package sponsors are invited to upload a company presentation (10 minutes duration). These presentations are then accessed via the sponsors company profile (view example here) and via the Sponsors link on the website navigation. In addition we will endeavour to recommend CRO & CMO Showcase content to buyers based on that buyers submitted preferences (where provided), this could be via email or in the programme section of the BOS Virtual website.

CRO & CMO Resources: Gold sponsors have the option to submit up to 3 CRO & CMO digital resources within their profile. These are typically webinars, white papers, video media, presentations which reside on the CRO/CMO website.

ePosters

BOS Virtual ePosters component takes the form of a collection of ePosters submitted by participating CROs and CMOs. Each poster is presented on a ePoster Form (view sample). Poster submissions should meet our standard template (contact Bio2Business for details and to receive a template) and should comply with our Editorial Guidelines.

Each BOS Virtual 2021 participant can award a Poster Rosette to an ePoster submission. Poster Rosettes awarded to an ePoster submission will be displayed on the appropriate ePoster Form for which the rosette has been attributed.

Note that the process of awarding a Poster Rosette is irreversible (once awarded you can’t withdraw it). Poster Rosettes accrued will guide the Poster Awards initiative which will take place in November 2021.

There will be 3 broad award classes for Discovery/CMC Small Molecules/CMC Biologics. The ePoster which has accrued the highest number of Poster Rosette nominations per category will win the Poster Award for that category.

Virtual Exhibition

Each participating CRO and CMO is included in the virtual exhibition which participants can utilise to search for services and capabilities required by that individual. Each exhibitor is represented on BOS Virtual by a Exhibitor Profile which can include the following contents (Header Image, Company Description, Links to Team Member, ePoster Profile, Resources, CRO and CMO Showcase, Share Buttons and Request for Information button).

Note that contents of the Exhibition Profile can vary depending on package purchased (see registration form). Each participant can contact a Exhibitor using the Request for Information button on the Exhibitor Profile for the specific company.

Note that an enquiry sent via this route will go to all the registered participants for that Exhibitor via the BOS Virtual Messenger.

Participants can search participating Exhibitors by Company Name, and Capability at the Exhibitor link at https://www.bio2bevents.com/virtual/exhibit.php. In addition participants can create "favourite exhibitor" lists by deploying the heart icon found on the exhibitor profile.

Partnering

BOS Exchange Derived Partnering: Participants who have registered as Biotech & Pharma participants (buyers) have the necessary permissions to submit outsourcing requirements (see posting a requirement video). This functionality is designed to be utilised by a buyer when they are looking to make contact with multiple suppliers perhaps about a difficult to source capability or if they have a question to pose to multiple suppliers.

The outsourcing requirement will be distributed to CROs and CMOs who match the service type required and selected by the buyer when completing the outsourcing requirement form. The buyer has the option to refine the distribution list by deselecting companies from the list prior to sending. Suppliers included on the distribution list will receive the request via a message to their Messenger Inbox. Suppliers can then respond to the requirement if appropriate from the Messenger Inbox.

BOS Virtual Exhibition Booth Partnering: During week starting 28th June to 2nd July, Exhibitors will have the opportunity to invite attending biotech and pharma delegates to 1-to-1 meetings at the exhibitors virtual booth. Should your meeting request be accepted, you and the meeting request recipient will be able to confirm a mutually acceptable time to meet. Requests to a buyer delegate are limited to a single meeting request per Exhibitor. Any registered delegate affiliated with an Exhibitor company can submit a meeting request. Each Exhibitor will be supplied with a unique Meeting Room link for your organisation at the outset of partnering which you can utilise from 28th June (09.00 BST) to 2nd July (17.00 BST).

Exhibitors will be able to access the partnering tool to arrange meetings on or before 28th June (09.00 BST).

BOS Messenger

All communications within the BOS Virtual platform are channelled via the BOS Messenger environment. This is accessed via "My Account". You will receive notifications to your registered email address alerting you when new messages are incoming to BOS Virtual Messenger. Note that you will not currently receive the contact details of the message originator when you receive a communication from another participant unless they explicitly include these details in their communication to you.

See Getting Started - BOS Virtual Buyer and Getting Started - BOS Virtual Supplier for more details on how to use the Messenger resource.

Each registered delegate will control their individual Privacy Settings which will dictate if they are open or closed to receive 1-to-1 communications from fellow participants, whether they are open or closed to receiving communications affiliated to their registered organisation and how they may wish to receive alerts about messages incoming to BOS Messenger.
